Drawing from the affective relationship between body and matter, the work explores solace as a primary need. As the object grows and acquires agency, its weight inscribes itself onto the body that curls up on itself. Between weight and elevation, the work reflects on solace as a psychological experience triggered by the tactile memory of affection and care.
